Information About The Legoland Hotel Florida Where Tourists Love To Stay

By Karen Miller

Sometimes parents want to do something really special for their children. They may have had a difficult year, overcome an illness, or just been particularly understanding and mature. Whatever the reason, taking a child's dream vacation and staying in the Legoland hotel Florida visitors recommend can be just the right thing to do. Legos have been around for many years, but they have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity. Many parents encourage their children to play with these toys instead of spending hour after hour on their computers or other electronic devices.

The hotel rooms are decorated in children's favorite Lego themes, so you will have to choose which will most delight your little one. The adventure rooms are very popular. Most have Egyptian motifs down to the pillow cases, comforters and bedsheets. There are pharaohs and pyramids to delight young adventurers.

The pirate themed rooms are always a favorite, and your children might love to sleep on a bed that is built like a ship at sea with billowing sails and ocean waves. The flooring design is a giant treasure map that leads all the pirates to the buried gold and precious jewels. Your kids will have a great time pretending to search for hidden treasure.

The kingdom rooms will make your little ones think they are visiting a real castle. These rooms are beautifully decorated with shields, family crests, knights on horseback and damsels and princesses galore. All the details are painstakingly done, and no area of the room is left out of the theme.

The developers have recently added the Lego friends themed rooms for little ones who have favorite characters. They are all represented here along with their cuddly pets. Children can sleep in the bunk beds and trundle beds provided while parents have use of the larger beds. As with the other rooms, these carry the theme throughout including comforters, pillowcases and light fixtures.

Before you get to Winter Haven, you should plan what you want to see and do each day of your stay. There is the water park to enjoy, and you may decide to spend an entire day there. Adult supervision of minor children is compulsory in the park, and some of the smaller ones may not meet the height requirements for some rides. The park closes on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make sure you check the park calendar before you come.

Your family will probably enjoy the park so much you will want to return again. If you live in the area, you can purchase an annual pass at an affordable price. Those with the passes and guests staying in the hotel can take advantage of Bonus Brick time which opens some rides and attractions early.

One of the most attractive things about the concept of Legos is the way it sparks the imagination of children. There is nothing technical about it and there are no rules for construction. Visiting Legoland just heightens and reinforces that.
