Panama City Beach Weddings Can Be Perfect For All Ages

By Catherine Scott

Whether you are tying the knot for the first time or not, your wedding day should be perfect for you and your partner. You probably have all kinds of ideas about the type of ceremony that would be most meaningful to you both. It might be something as simple as standing in front of the justice of the peace and reciting your vows. It could be an elaborate church service with multiple bridesmaids and a lavish reception afterward, or you just might be considering the kind of experience that Panama City Beach weddings are known for.

Florida has all of that beautiful white sand, and the Gulf of Mexico is salt free, unlike its Atlantic Ocean neighbor. When you decide this is your dream location, the next thing to do is pick which venue will host your special day.

All you really need to have for a wedding are the two people involved, witnesses, and someone who can issue a marriage license. If you wanted to, you could just put up a canopy on the beach and have it there. Many couples would be fine with that. If you are looking for something a little more elaborate, you have a lot to choose from.

In keeping with the beach setting, but a little more private and special, St. Andrews Park could be an ideal location. This park's beaches have been ranked the most beautiful in the United States and for good reason. The pinewoods, marshes, and natural wildlife make it a perfect outdoor setting to celebrate a new union.

You do not have to be boating enthusiasts to charter a catamaran and get married off the gulf shore. There are charters that regularly handle wedding parties and can make your day one you will not soon forget. Weather is always a factor however, and if you choose this type of venue, you will have to be ready to adjust your plans.

Most people would never think of spending their special day at an aquatic center, but it could be a lot of fun and something truly different. The Gulf World Marine Park would be a perfect venue if this idea appeals to you. There are several areas inside the park that are available for group events like wedding services. There are the Tropical Garden and the Dolphin Stadium just to name two possibilities.

If trying something really unique appeals to you, you might scuba dive your way into the married life with an underwater service. Of course you will have to be, or become, proficient at diving, prove you had all the training necessary, and produce the appropriate certifications before this idea becomes feasible. Most of the wedding party may opt to take it easy on the boat while you recite your vows out of sight. If so, they will miss an unusual ceremony to say the least.

There are so many different wedding venue possibilities, making a final decision can be overwhelming. Whatever you decide, a Florida destination ceremony can be a fun, laid back way to celebrate each other and the new life you are creating together.
